1.0           INTRODUCTION


1.1           We are delighted that fans are once again entitled to attend Bradford Bulls matches.  We have changed our operating practices to ensure that we comply with Government and RFL guidance and regulations. 


1.2           This guide is intended to advise you of those changes and also provide you with other information that you need to know in advance of attending any Bradford Bulls home matches


1.3           As you will appreciate the situation in relation to Covid-19 is constantly evolving we will seek to keep you updated as to any changes to our operating practices via the Club website and social media.


1.4           Whilst this guide relates to matches at Bradford Bulls, the restriction on only home fans attending matches is a Government requirement across all grounds.  Fans of Bradford Bulls are therefore not entitled to attend our away matches.  Whilst we understand how keen you will be to do so, it is imperative that you comply with this prohibition to demonstrate how responsible our fans are and therefore support the return to being able to attend all matches in the near future.   




2.1           Only spectators with valid match tickets bought in advance of the match, may attend matches.


2.2           Spectators will be able to purchase match tickets (when available for general sale) from Club Ticketing Office or Website up until 1 working day prior  in order that the ground can prepare accordingly.


2.3           Spectators will only be able to purchase match tickets as individuals unless a group booking is made by individuals from the same household or the same social bubble up to a maximum of 6 people as per Government guidance please see here:

This is to ensure appropriate Social Distancing at the ground.


2.4           Prior to purchasing tickets, you will be asked to:


-        ensure that you have read the following Spectator Code of Behaviour, see our web page https://www.bradfordbulls.co.u...



-        ensure that you considered the associated risks of attending a match and your own vulnerability status via the following links:






-        provide accurate contact information for everyone attending in your group to assist with NHS test and trace requirements, (you will be prompted)


-        ‘opt in’ to confirm that you understand all of the above statements and will abide by all requirements


-        confirm you will abide by all other requirements the Club may set out in advance of the match including but not limited to use of face coverings.


-        Confirm that you are a fan of Bradford Bulls


2.5           Seats will be allocated with a distance of 2 metre seats between separate bookings to seek to ensure compliance with Social Distancing Guidelines. For Standing areas, spectators will still required to ensure Social Distancing which will be managed by the Club by Steward Team. 


No one will be allocated a seat in the rows directly in front of you or directly behind you.  These seats will always be kept free from sale and we ask that you report to a steward any breaches of social distances in any of the seating areas.


2.6           Upon purchasing a match ticket, you will agree to abide the Spectator Code of Behaviour and will have confirmed you are aware of the associated risks of attending a match.


2.8           All tickets will be allocated in accordance with social distancing guidelines and will be processed in order of receipt.


2.9           Spectators with disabilities when purchasing match tickets should contact the Club ticket office 01274 762313 to discuss what adjustments may be required to be made by the Club, including in light of Covid-19 regulation.





3.1           Limited food and beverage kiosks will be open on matches days.   Hot food is only available in the Main Seated Stand.  Snacks available in the terracing area.

3.2           Once food and/or drink is purchased, Within the terracing section they most say within the bar area to consumer their drink.  Within the main stand spectators must return immediately to their seats to consumer their drink.


3.3           We prefer financial transactions to be contactless.


3.4           Toilets and first aid facilities will be open in the Main stand, with toilets located throughout the ground.  This is in guidance with government restrictions on social distancing.


3.5           Hand sanitisation stations will be positioned at various point within the stadium including on entry points and toilets facilities.


3.6           Face coverings will be mandated at all times whilst within the ground both indoors and outdoors: the latter is due to the higher risk of transmission associated with singing and shouting.





4.1           The Bradford Bulls encourages all spectators to avoid crowded areas, specifically those that are indoors to reduce the risk of infection and encourage all spectators to come directly from home to the ground.  


4.2           The Bradford Bulls advises all spectators to avoid public transport where possible. Where unavoidable spectators should ensure they are compliant with government guidance such as face coverings.

Spectators encouraged by PA or pre-match brief to stagger their exit for the train.


For a social distanced match, the anticipated numbers of those travelling by trains is expected to be minimal and spectator are reminded to wear a facemask covering for their own protection.


Again, Spectators are asked to follow government guidelines when traveling to the stadium, plan ahead and most of all stay safe. Wear a facemask but if you can, travel by car.


4.3           Please arrive at the ground as stated on website / social media using allocated gates / turnstiles for your ticket allocation.


4.4           Directions to Odsal Stadium

By Car

Odsal Stadium is about 2 miles (3.5 km) south of Bradford city centre.  Located off the M606 / M62, situated on Rooley Ave, Odsal, Bradford BD6 1BS.

Local Train Station: Low Moor Station, New Works Road, Low Moor, West Yorkshire, BD12 7BD  (approx. 1 mile)

Bradford Foster Square / Interchange – City Centre (approx. 3.5. miles)


5.0           DAY OF THE MATCH


5.1           On matchday the Club will send out a message on the website and on all social media platforms to remind spectators of risks associated with attending and to consider any symptoms they may have before travelling.


5.2           In accordance with the Spectator Code of Conduct, spectators should not attend the match if they (or any member of their household) are experiencing any of the following symptoms:


•           a high temperature (37.8 of higher); or

•           a new onset of a continuous cough; or

•           loss of or change in normal sense of taste or smell 


In addition, and again outlined within the Spectators Code of Conduct, spectators should not attend if they have been requested to isolate by NHS Track and Trace.


Spectators who live in an area under local lockdown restrictions should not travel and should not attend the game. If you are unsure follow the link to the Government website.





6.1           Turnstiles will open an hour before kick-off – please allow plenty of time as entrance to the Stadium may take longer due to social distancing measures.


6.2           Entrance and exit times will be controlled so that everyone can enter and exit in a controlled and safe manner.


6.3           Spectators should arrive by and exit at the specified time stated by the Club for the area of the stadium they are situated in.


6.4           The Club is using Gates 1, 3, 5,  entrances and 1,3, 5, 6 & 10 exits in relation to egress.


6.5           The following entrances are to be used with respect of emergency access Gate 1 & 5.


6.6           Spectators may be subject to temperature checking. If a spectator’s temperature is over 37.8, they may be refused access to the ground.


6.7           Spectators are asked to limit the number of bags they bring to the ground to avoid the build-up of queues in this area’. (Bags should be in bigger than 350mm high by 300mm deep by 400mm wide (i.e. they should be able to fit under your Stadium seat if seated). 


6.8           All Spectators are reminded about those items which are prohibited (CLUB TO PROVIDE LINK TO REGULATIONS – WHAT IS ALLOWED/NOT ALLOWED).


6.9           Please remember that both on entry and exiting the Stadium to maintain social distancing and when you exit the Stadium you must leave the ground immediately.



7.0           INSIDE THE GROUND


7.1           Spectators shall remain within their seats at all times unless accessing the facilities.


7.2           Spectators are required to follow all Social Distancing guidelines in accordance with the current Government rules and the instructions of all Stewards, adhere to the left when moving around the ground.



7.3           To assist spectators, signage has been installed throughout the stadium, spectators should follow this signage when moving around the ground including when accessing any facilities.


7.4           Spectators are responsible for ensuring supervision of children in their care.


7.5           The Club will notify all spectators via the PA system about the importance of Social Distancing and other appropriate measures in place at the stadium.


7.6           The Club will remind all spectators via the PA system about the exiting procedures.


7.7           Spectators are remined to frequently use the hand sanitisers provided.


7.8           Spectators are reminded that many people attending matches will be understandably nervous about attending events with people outside of their social households and bubbles. It is therefore important, in line with the RFL Respect and Enjoy the Game campaigns to be understanding of others by complying with all Codes of Conducts and guidance issued.


7.9           In line with the Government Guidelines shouting, singing or chanting in all settings is discouraged.


7.10         Spectators wishing to report concerns about spectator behaviour should contact the nearest steward or telephone 01274 762313.





8.1           Spectators who become ill whilst at the ground must, where possible, contact the following number 01274 762313, in order that the situation can be managed accordingly.


8.2           Spectators who are displaying suspected Covid-19 symptoms will be taking to an isolation room contained within the ground, if they are unable to return home straight away.
