WELCOME BACK, ELLIOT KEAR!

BRADFORD Bulls are delighted to confirm Elliot Kear will be re-joining the club following the completion of his firefighter training.

The 32-year-old has now penned a deal until the end of the 2022 season and will don the red, amber and black once again following a three-year spell from 2012 to 2014.

A Wales international, Kear has racked up over 200 career appearances and recently featured in the 2019 Betfred Super League Grand Final and 2020 Coral Challenge Cup Final for Salford Red Devils.

“It is a real coup for the club – he has been featuring regularly in Super League and he has had an outstanding career racking up hundreds of games at the highest level,” said Kear, who is sponsored by Bradford Bulls Banter.

“I really am delighted he will be joining us – he will add leadership to the group and a competitive edge coupled with a desire to achieve.

“He can play anywhere from full back to left wing and will add pressure to those already occupying those positions so hopefully they thrive on the back of it.

“He went up with London when they were not expected to go up so he has been there, got the t shirt and I know his training ethic is second to none.

“I know he is not coming to put his feet up, he’s coming to help us achieve what we set out to achieve and I am sure he will add a lot to us.

“It was not a big sell from me to him about the club’s facilities and ambitions – it will certainly make his transition easier knowing the club like he does.”
