INTRODUCING THE BRADFORD BULLS CAREERS HUB

WE are delighted to introduce the Bradford Bulls Careers Hub – offering experience and expertise to players within the club’s Academy set-up.

Guidance on building a suitable Curriculum Vitae is included alongside learning interview techniques – with the opportunity to link up with local businesses and take on apprenticeship programmes provided.

The Careers Hub is another pathway for the club’s Academy starlets to explore since partnerships with New College Bradford and the University of Bradford were announced in the last 12 months.

Head of Youth Leigh Beattie has highlighted the importance of offering player’s opportunities away from Rugby – insisting their development as people is a key priority for the club.

“We are very keen to look into the educational side of things to offer a pathway for players to fall back on,” said Beattie, who is sponsored by Bullbuilder.

“These links are crucial to being able to offer development for the players not just as athletes but as people too.

“Their development away from the field is hugely important to us and it is good to see businesses jump at the chance to help the lads have options as rugby doesn’t last forever.”
