WOMEN IN NINE TRY WIN TO KEEP PLAY OFF HOPES ALIVE
BRADFORD Bulls Women ran in nine tries to beat Wakefield Trinity 48- 4 at the Mobile Rocket Stadium and keep their play-off hopes alive...
The home side got off to a fast start with Michala Reith touching down for an early lead.
That was as good as it got for Wakefield in their first match in Ken Kerr's tenure - with Bradford running in nine tries.
Manina Spurr touched down for her first try since her return from a year's spell at Leeds Rhinos in 2018 - with the boot of Leah Jones kicking Bradford into the lead.
Sarah Dunn then continued her impressive form - scoring in her fourth successive match - to extend the visitors' advantage.
Jones then scored and converted her own try before Savannah Andrade's first-half effort.
Amy Hardcastle then got the first of her three scores - taking her tally to 18 for the season - before Olivia Wood's second in as many games.
Hardcastle got her 19th and 20th tries of the season - sandwiching a Bailey Alexander score - to seal an emphatic return to winning ways.
