MAGIC WKND BREAKING RECORDS

Magic WKND 2026 has become the fastest-selling edition in the event’s 20-year history.

Rugby league’s biggest summer festival heads to Everton’s world-class Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time this season — and fans are responding in record numbers.

Nearly 50,000 tickets have been sold since going on sale last month, marking the most rapid take-up yet for the showpiece occasion, which first launched in Cardiff in 2007.

All 12 of Super League’s UK-based clubs will take to the field at the new home of Everton FC across the weekend of Saturday July 4 and Sunday July 5.

RL Commercial has confirmed that the stadium’s Lower Bowl is now SOLD OUT for Sunday and Full Weekend Passes.

The Trinity Bar and Village Street have also sold out across Saturday, Sunday and Full Weekend Passes, while hospitality sales have already surpassed 60% capacity within the first month.

With only very limited Lower Bowl availability remaining for Saturday Passes, the iconic venue is rapidly proving a huge hit with rugby league supporters.

Hill Dickinson Stadium was previously sold out in the autumn when England faced Australia in the ABK Rugby League Ashes, becoming the first non-football event staged at the ground.

Now fans are returning in force for a Super League spectacular that brings together the competition’s fiercest rivalries and derby clashes across one unforgettable weekend.

RL Commercial Director of Marketing and Communications Joe Steel said:
“There’s a real buzz around taking one of the biggest dates in the rugby league calendar to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium — and it’s fantastic to see supporters responding so enthusiastically.

“We’re aiming for this to be the biggest and best Magic WKND yet, with everything in place for two absorbing, action-packed days.

“There’s a full festival experience for fans to enjoy, both on and off the pitch.

“Those who attended the Ashes Test at Everton in November were blown away by the world-class venue, and Super League is excited to be next to take centre stage.”

With unreserved seating, a pass-out system to access the Plaza fan zone, live entertainment, music, in-bowl games and competitions, Magic WKND truly offers something for everyone.

Among the 47,000-plus tickets already sold, supporters from all 37 professional clubs are represented.

Fans have until midnight on Thursday March 26 to secure tickets at early-bird prices, with a 20% discount available.
