RISING STAR PENS NEW DEAL

Bradford Bulls are delighted to announce homegrown star Jamie Gill has signed a new two-year deal to remain at the club as we head into Betfred Super League for the 2026 season.

The 20-year-old has risen through the famed Elite Academy system in place at the Bulls, heavily supported by Bullbuilder and its members.

The Ireland international enjoyed loan spells at Cornwall, Newcastle Thunder and Dewsbury Rams before impressing on his Bradford first team debut against Featherstone Rovers last month.

Gill has spoken of his excitement at moving into a full-time environment, insisting he will work hard to impress new head coach Kurt Haggerty.

“I am really happy to be staying and moving full-time with the club into Super League. Having got a taste of playing in the first team against Featherstone I am looking forward to getting back in training, learning from my team mates to continue developing and pushing my stake for a place in the side next year,” said Gill, who was sponsored by Christopher & Katie Williams in 2025.

“Having come through the Academy and Scholarship system it is a dream to be able to make it into Super League and over the next two years I will continue working hard to improve.

“It is really exciting times for the club, I think being in a full-time environment will help me progress as a player and with a new coaching team coming in it is a clean slate for everyone and I will work hard to impress.”

Bradford Bulls Head Coach Kurt Haggerty said:

“Jamie is a player where we can clearly see there’s a potential Super League player in there, he just needs to be in a full-time environment to see him blossom. He’s a big boy with a good strength of carry so we’re looking forward to seeing how he can progress and if he can turn into a future Super League player.

“The more people and players that we can have from Bradford and our Elite Academy the better, it gives you that heartbeat of the team. Players like Jamie are a really good starting point for us and the more kids we can get from Bradford in a full-time environment, the better for the club.”

We’d like to thank Bullbuilder and their members for their continued support towards Youth Development at the Bulls.
