SIX TRIES SEAL A RETURN TO WINNING WAYS

Bradford Bulls ran in six tries to secure a return to winning ways with a 34-0 victory over Hunslet at Bartercard Odsal last night.
Brian Noble made five changes to the side that lost to Barrow last time out – with Eribe Doro, Kieran Gill, Bayley Liu, James Meadows and Emmanuel Waine all returning.
But it was a familiar face, Jordan Lilley, on his 71st consecutive appearance, who opened the scoring in trademark fashion, stepping past four defenders to score.
Jayden Okunbor saw a try towards the end of the first half ruled out, with points well and truly at a premium.
A fast start to the second half saw the Bulls post back-to-back tries.
Kieran Gill, on his return, was on the end of a well worked move between hands on the left edge to extend Bradford’s lead.
And that lead was extended further, when a neat move on the right edge gave Okunbor a try that ultimately would not be chalked off.
The lesser spotted eight point try would take Bradford further in front, after Tom Holmes was fouled in the act of scoring after a good break from Nathan Mason.
Konrad Hurrell laid on another try for Gill on the left edge, showing superb improvisation to feed his wingman for his second of the evening.
A scuffle emerged in back play soon after that saw Sam Webb-Campbell and Bayley Liu both sent off for their involvement.
Soon after, having fed Gill for what looked like a hat trick score, Holmes was taken out off the ball which sparked another fracas, with Keelan Foster being sent to the sin bin for Hunslet.
The final act of the game was a scoring one, after good work from James Meadows sent Blake over under the posts to seal a return to winning ways.
