Tyran Ott was elated with the Bulls' performance against Batley Bulldogs, after making his return to the pitch following a six-week spell on the side-lines.

“It was an exciting night for the club with all the pyrotechnics and the great turn out, also happy to get the win.” Tyran Ott.

“I feel like I have plenty to give, first game back for a while I think it’s six weeks. It's been a stop start one for me, hopefully I can get a few games on the bounce and come back in the full.”

Another win for the Bulls means the 2-point point difference behind Toulouse remains and a continuation of great form and performances from previous weeks.

“Felt great for the first 15 then after not playing enough minutes the engine started to blow quite a bit but started to tick them over.”

"The second half plan was to keep trying hard to get through them, some runs from our middles were outstanding and our backs as well. We had to keep the foot on the throat and keep knocking down the front door.”

"Our defence was much more improved; It's been a goal that we want to fix up our defence, we have been letting a lot of points in. Our try line defence was really good today, the boys kept turning it up. We had that one little lapse where we couldn't get our systems right, but asides from that we can live with one a game.

Tough conditions for both teams on Friday night with temperatures soaring and being felt by most. Being an Australian internation the weather was no problem for Tyran who thrived in the heat and enjoyed being back in a familiar climate.

“I didn't think it was hot at all. This has been the best weather I've had over here since the year and a half I've been here. I was loving it I felt right at home.

The Bulls travel down to Barrow on Sunday for a 3pm kick-off at Craven Park, where they aim to get another win on the road and get one back over the home side.

“It will be good to get one back againts them. The last time out it was a draw at Craven Park, and they got us here at the start of the year, so we definitely owe them one.
