BATEMAN JOINS BULLDOGS ON LOAN

Bradford Bulls can confirm Jacob Bateman has joined Batley Bulldogs on loan for the remainder of the 2025 season.

The 19-year-old has had spells out on loan at Betfred League One outfit Newcastle Thunder in the early stages of the season, having impressed with tries for the Reserves in recent fixtures against Wakefield and Leeds.

Jacob, primarily a back rower but can feature as a middle, made his first team debut in May 2024 against Sheffield Eagles, earning him Heritage Number 1436.

Bateman will now get valuable game time at the Betfred Championship at the Fox's Biscuits Stadium to further aid his development. We wish Jacob the best of luck with his temporary move!
