Bradford Bulls are delighted to announce Mitch Souter has penned a one-year contract extension – keeping him at the club until the end of the 2026 season.

The 24-year-old Aussie has become a firm fans’ favourite since arriving at Bartercard Odsal prior to the start of the 2024 campaign and we’d like to thank the Bradford Bulls Squad Booster Association for their contribution to Mitch’s retention. 

Souter has made 47 appearances so far in the red, amber and black, scoring 13 tries including seven this term, already surpassing last season’s total of six. 

Head coach Brian Noble, sponsored by Paints & Lacquers, has hailed Mitch’s consistency – insisting the hooker is key to the club’s ambitions. 

“We all know what Mitch’s talents are, one of the issues he can have is overworking and trying to do everyone else’s job and using his energy up but he is managing himself really well and providing the element of consistency we have been asking for. 

“You can see he enjoys his football and players like Mitch and Jayden, you can tell they are finding a home here and it’s on the back of what we’re doing as a club. We are an ambitious club, everyone knows we want to do well this year and Mitch is part of that journey.”
