INJURY HIT BULLS MAKE IT SEVEN ON THE SPIN

An injury-hit Bradford Bulls made it seven league wins on the spin with a resilient 30-22 victory over Doncaster at the Eco-Power Stadium this afternoon.
Brian Noble was forced into two changes to the side that beat Widnes Vikings last weekend, with James Meadows and Emmanuel Waine replacing Luke Hooley and Nathan Mason.
Bradford were then forced into an early interchange with James Donaldson sustaining an injury and being helped from the field.
But that withdrawal didn’t stop the Bulls opening the scoring when a lovely looping pass from Joe Keyes saw Waqa Blake score his 7th try of the season.
Things got better for the Bulls when Zac Fulton stepped inside on his way to scoring under the posts.
Kieran Gill was another withdrawal through injury in a first half riddled with adversity and Doncaster took advantage of some reshuffling to score in the right corner through Luke Briscoe.
The Dons drew level when Edene Gebbie was judged to have grounded a grubber from Craig Hall in the left corner.
The Bulls re-took the lead after the break when Zac Fulton dotted down for his second after good work from Guy Armitage.
A see-saw contest then saw Doncaster take the lead when Edene Gebbie raced 70 metres down the wing to score.
Bradford saw another key player forced off through injury with Jordan Lilley leaving the field.
That didn’t stop the Bulls getting back on top when Mitch Souter scored from dummy half.
Soon after, the Dons were back in front through dual registration player Logan Moy.
The Bulls showed immense character to come back into the game and take the lead again through a well worked try which ended with Jayden Okunbor scoring.
That wasn’t the end of Bradford’s scoring exploits either, with Ebon Scurr twisting and turning before stretching out to score on the hooter.
