EIGHT TRIES, SIXTH STRAIGHT WIN

Bradford Bulls made it six wins on the spin with a dominant 48-12 victory over Batley Bulldogs – with eight different players getting on the scoresheet.
Brian Noble made one change from the side that beat Sheffield Eagles last time out, with Emmanuel Waine returning on the interchange bench in place of Eliot Peposhi.
Going down the slope, the Bulls couldn’t have got off to a much better start when Kieran Gill crashed over from close range to open the scoring.
Three tries in very quick succession followed, Matty Gee first up with a trademark powerful effort on the Batley line.
One of the tries of the season then followed, with towering forward Logan Bayliss breaking clear from halfway, throwing a dummy to bamboozle the Batley full-back and racing home to score under the posts.
On the next set, Bradford scored again with Ronan Michael powering his way over for his first try of the season.
The Bulldogs began to work their way into proceedings and Jack Render dived over on the right flank to get the home side on the scoreboard.
Back came Bradford in opportunistic fashion, the home side looked to offload the ball but Mitch Souter came from the blindside to pinch the ball and race home.
The boot of Luke Hooley nudged the Bulls further ahead by two points at the break.
Batley came out of the blocks fast, storming downhill and scoring through Alfie Dean.
But back came Bradford again, with Tyran Ott darting over from dummy half.
Effort levels remained admirable in the intense heat, and a superb move late on sent Waqa Blake over, with Jordan Lilley registering an audacious ‘pre-assist’ with a pass through his legs.
Lilley himself got in on the act on the hooter, with Bayliss bouncing off a Batley man to find the half-back on his outside for an easy finish.
