ACKROYD JOINS COUGARS ON LOAN
Sam Ackroyd has joined Betfred League One side Keighley Cougars on loan for the remainder of the 2025 season.
Ackroyd, a half-back who can also fill in at hooker, featured in three pre-season games in 2025, against the Cougars, Huddersfield Giants and Dewsbury Rams.
Having enjoyed a loan spell at Whitehaven in the Betfred Championship last year and having also featured for Newcastle Thunder in League One this campaign, the youngster will now head to Cougar Park to get valuable game time.
