VACANCY | MARKETING MANAGER

Currently operating as a leading part-time Championship club, but still with 9 teams in total, the historic and ambitious Bradford Bulls RLFC are targeting an imminent return to Super League.

In preparation for and to help facilitate a return to Elite level Rugby League, the club is seeking to recruit an experienced full-time Marketing Manager with a proven track record of delivering success.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful applicant will not only strategise the club’s marketing plan, they will also be expected to operationally deliver it.

Role Description

Marketing Manager

·       Review the club’s current marketing approach to identify best practices and areas for improvement.

·       Devise a clear marketing strategy.

·       Implement said marketing strategy.

·       Take ownership of all marketing functions at the club and stadium.

·       Produce regular, timely and accurate marketing information for reporting to and advising the CEO and wider Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors.

·       Prepare annual marketing budget of expenditure and revenue.

·       Work closely with the club’s Media Manager to ensure alignment and consistency across both disciplines.

·       Be a member of the club’s senior management team.

·       Contribute to fan, lapsed fans and potential fans surveys and present significant findings to the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors.

·       Increase match-day attendances and membership numbers to target.

Essentials:

·       Current UK driving licence.

·       A minimum 2 years marketing experience.

·       An innovative can-do approach, with the accountability and willingness to work on your own initiative.

·       Agility and a willingness to work unsocial hours when appropriate.

Desirable:

·       A keen interest and understanding of professional sport and in particular Rugby League.
