BULLS ENTER DUAL REGISTRATION WITH ROCHDALE

Bradford Bulls can this evening confirm it has entered into a dual-registration partnership with Betfred League One outfit Rochdale Hornets.

The arrangement will see Bradford Bulls’ players eligible to feature for Gary Thornton’s side when made available by Eamon O’Carroll. 

O’Carroll, who is sponsored by M & S Combustion Ltd, said: 

"Some of our young boys will get gametime against quality opposition but more importantly they’ll be going to a club with good values, Gary (Thornton) is a great man with good values and he’ll look after the young lads. 

“It’s not just the younger players that will benefit if we have a player who isn’t making the squad it gives them the opportunity to go out and play.

“They are a good club, not too far from here which helps with working commitments and as well as that I have a good relationship with Gary. I am really happy to get an agreement sorted.” 

Rochdale Hornets’ Chairman Andy Mazey said: 

 “We are pleased to enter into this relationship with Bradford Bulls. Gary and Eamon have built a good relationship and we have ran against them a couple of times in pre-season which has been very useful for both clubs. 

It’s a partnership which provides potential options and a greater depth to Gary’s selection processes and it also may provide opportunities for game valuable game time for our own players as Bradford run reserves.”
