BULLS BOOK QUARTER FINAL BERTH

Bradford Bulls booked a place in the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup quarter-finals with a 26-18 win over Keighley Cougars this afternoon.

The Bulls got off to the perfect start when the powerful Eribe Doro offload to Sam Hallas on the Keighley line, and he wrestled past two defenders to open the scoring.

After a prolonged period without a try due to some magnificent scrambling defence, the home side eventually scored through Lanskey off a kick in behind.

Bradford sparked back into life however with back-to-back scores prior to the interval.

Firstly, Aidan McGowan superbly navigated his way over the line on the powerplay following a superb offload from Billy Jowitt.

A set full of strong carries then laid the platform for a neat move on the left to send Jorge Taufua over.

Bradford raced out of the starting blocks in the second half with back-to-back scores again.

Jordan Lilley dropped the shoulder and darted over from close range, before Keven Appo’s barnstorming run from 20 metres.

Keighley set up a grand stand finish with tries from Graham and Ioane but the Bulls held firm to book a spot in the last 8.
