ADAMS JOINS HUNSLET ON LOAN

Bradford Bulls can today confirm Will Adams has joined Betfred League One outfit Hunslet RLFC on a season-long loan – with the Bulls holding a recall option after an initial two week period.

The young outside back featured in three pre-season games – against Halifax Panthers, Featherstone Rovers and Hull FC – and will now gain valuable competitive game time for the Parksiders. 

Bradford Bulls Head Coach Eamon O’Carroll, who is sponsored by M & S Combustion, said: 

“Will is a great lad who has been in our system for a number of years, he feels he is ready to make that next step which I totally agree with.  

“It was really important to us that Will is still part of our team for this year, I see him playing a part this just gives him an opportunity to test himself against men and be ready even more for when he’s called upon at Bradford. 

“It will be a good opportunity for Will, he’s had difficulties in terms of employment and making our sessions, which is a challenge for all the boys at this time of year.

“We recognised early Will needed to get experience elsewhere, he is someone I’ve been very impressed with, he certainly didn’t look out of depth against Halifax on Christmas Eve and he wants to work hard. 

“I see him being a big part of our future, this is one step in his further development and hopefully we’ll see him in a Bradford jersey this year.”
