VACANCY - MEDIA & MARKETING ASSISTANT

Bradford Bulls are looking to hire an enthusiastic, professional and highly motivated Media & Marketing Assistant to assist with the club media duties, while also working with the Bradford Bulls Foundation.

This is a fantastic full-time role for someone to assist with our Media and Marketing duties across all our key teams, while also working behind the scenes at a professional sports club. - You will work day-to-day with our Commercial | Media Team, while also having an excellent relationship with the players and coaching staff to ensure our communications are delivered to the highest standard.

The successful candidate will work with both the Bradford Bulls Media Team, while also spending a selected number of days with the Bradford Bulls Foundation to head their Social Media.

ROLE:

To be completely responsible for all aspects of social media and assist with Marketing capabilities that surround Bradford Bulls RLFC and the Bradford Bulls Foundation, boosting our reach as far as possible.

Deliver all social media duties during the week and on match day, including promoting different edges of the business, such as Tickets, Games, Commercial opportunities and driving our Commercial Opportunities, ensuring that fans are informed in a professional manner, with links to Ticketing.

Boosting our reach in Bradford and raising the global reach of the club, to ensure that our social media is reaching our targets.

Create engaging content that is easily readable but fun and incorporates the club’s logo and colours. Ensure that the content is new and creative. This includes but is not limited to, graphic design, gameday assets (Try, Goal and Full-Time assets) and news story assets.

Securing partnerships with local newspapers and news outlets to ensure our news is reaching as many people as possible, building relationships with local and national Journalists.

Ensure that our social media is treated with respect and is updated in a timely manner consistent with pre-made media plans.

Create video content, including Media interviews with First Team players and Head Coach when possible.

Cover every First Team game, and some Academy, Scholarship and Women's Team games.

Requirements:

The successful candidate for this role must have a Full UK Driving License.

Degree in Required Field or Equivalent.

Excellent Written and Verbal skills.

Superb Team Member.

Good knowledge of Rugby League and generally, a keen interest in the sport is preferable.

Someone with a continuous Improvement Mindset and is willing to build the business.

Able to support flexible working patterns as is standard in sport.

Desirable:

Experience working in a Professional Sports Team

Work with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop) & Final Cut Pro

Documented work with a Sports Team
