BRADFORD HOLD GREECE IN THRILLER

Bradford Bulls drew 34-34 with Greece Rugby League on Saturday Afternoon, with Kieran Gill scoring an 18 minute hat-trick!
Bradford, against the odds got off to a rapid start and caught Greece cold, as Kieran Gill crashed over to continue his try scoring from where he left off in the regular season.
He then was sent over the line by Myles Lawford soon after for his second of the afternoon, as Bradford stamped their authority on the game.
Micky Hoyle, then was the grateful recipient of a crash ball which saw him stroll underneath the posts for a score that extended the lead to sixteen.
Kieran Gill then sealed his treble in eighteen in game minutes, as he barged his way through the Greece defence to reach out and score, a great spell for the centre.
George Flanagan Jr added the extras on all but one try in the frantic 20 minute period of the game, the full-back showing some great goal kicking ability from the boot.
Greece would find two scores to reduce the arrears before the break, through Nick Mougious and Theodoris Nianakis, to leave the lead at twelve heading into the break.
After the interval, Greece really turned up the heat on Bradford, as they introduced their three stars from the bench in Billy Magoulias, Lachlan Illias and Peter Mamouzelos.
They found their reward soon after, with Billy Magoulias racing over underneath the posts, as Bradford struggled to cope with the pressure being thrown at them.
However, David Gibbons launched a counterattack, as he kicked long from inside his own half, and with the kick not being dealt with, Aidan Scully regathered the loose ball and raced home.
David Gibbons, was involved again soon after, as he got one of his own scores as Myles Lawford sent a swirling kick, which was spilled by Greece, into the grateful hands of Gibbons who had the easy job of sliding over.
It what then became a messy last twenty minutes, Greece were awarded a number of contentious penalties and six again's which allowed them extended periods of field possession and ball.
This took energy out of the Bradford tank, and although David Foggin-Johnston had a try ruled out after regathering a dropped ball, he was penalised for a tackle in the air in bizarre circumstances. Kieran Gill was then sin-binned for arguing the decision.
Greece then took full advantage of the gap left by Gill, as they broke through numerous times, Peter Mamouzelos finishing off the latest break.
With five minutes remaining, Adam Vrahos then crossed in the corner to level the game after Bradford struggled with a full complement Greece team.
With seconds remaining, Greece were then awarded two penalties in quick succession, Lachlan Illias pointing for the posts to win the game, but couldn’t add the two from 40m out, which meant that the game would end a draw.
Congratulations to all the Academy players who made their senior debut’s today, everyone played exceptionally well, and the future is very much bright!
