BULLS FOUNDATION AWARDED SAFER COMMUNITIES FUND

Bradford Bulls Foundation attended the Tracy Brabin Mayor of West Yorkshire Safer Communities Fund, as they received a fund to start their 'Raise Your Game' project.

The fund will allow the foundation to ensure that their scheme ‘Raise Your Game’ is the best it can possibly be and support children in the local community.

The Foundation will provide weekly sessions in team sports, they will promote cohesion and friendship to support healthy lifestyles and reinforce the dangers of risky behavior. Participants within the Raise Your Game scheme will also be encouraged to complete volunteering placements within their schools and other programmes, to give them valuable experience.

This is a huge milestone for the Bradford Bulls Foundation, who support over 20,000 children per year with fun activities within the school holidays, and also 100's of children in local schools with PE Activities.

“We would like to thank Mayor Tracy Brabin and the safer communities fund for agreeing to fund the Bradford Bulls Foundations project ‘Raise your game’. This project will allow 13-17-year-olds to access positive activities that empower better choices, resilience, and healthier lifestyles across South Bradford. 

"As an organisation, the Bulls foundation engages with over 20,000 people per year across a wide range of initiatives based on the needs of our communities, this project will further enhance the offer to the people of Bradford”
