WOMENS TEAM TOPPLE TRINITY

Shaun Flynn's Bulls Women's team defeated Wakefield Trinity on Sunday 26-0, with a flawless defensive effort the highlight of the afternoon!

Bradford and Wakefield both struggled early on, with errors apiece as neither side created any clear cut chances.

Shaun Flynn's side grew into the game however, and as they forced Wakefield to defend more, openings started to arise and Katie Whelan crashed over for the opening score soon after.

Smart play saw the centre dart through a gap and score to get Bradford on the scoreboard.

A second try soon followed, as Bailey Alexander showed the dancing feet to cross the Trinity defensive line to double the lead.

With Bradford in command, Alice Fisher raced away and scored to put daylight between the sides, and set the Women's team on their way to another victory.

Wakefield came close after the break, but a superb race back and tackle from Millie Bell stopped a Trinity winger in her tracks, as she raced from her own half looking for the Bulls try line.

More pressure came from Wakefield, but fantastic defence from the collective team held them out, and forced the error from the visitors.

Abi Pinder and Hermani Grace wrapped things up with two tries, the latter racing away from her own half and crashing over underneath the posts to wrap up a league double over Trinity.
