SCHOLARSHIP TOPPLE TRINITY

?Bradford Bulls Scholarship side made it back-to-back wins with a 30-18 victory over Wakefield Trinity last night!

Paul Mennell’s side got off to a lightning quick start – with powerful front rower Jamie Gill barging his way over.

On ten minutes, Trinity responded however when Dom Sinfield raced clear unopposed on Wakefield’s right edge.

Parity didn’t last long however when a neat passing move on Bradford’s right hand side set Connor Sayner in for an acrobatic finish.

Sayner grabbed his second soon after, in almost identical fashion as the Young Bulls demonstrated their slick attacking abilities.

Wakefield reduced the deficit prior to the interval but the second half started in the same vein as the first.

Another good mood through hands saw Sam Ackroyd put Eddie Salkeld through a gap in the Trinity defence.

In a thriller, Wakefield hit back once again but the Young Bulls showed great resolve to stretch away with the game.

Gill powered his way over for his second of the game before Sayner superbly claimed a high kick to touch down for his hat trick.
