BULLS FALL TO LATE DERBY DEFEAT

Jacob Fairbank saw red early on for the visitors – with Dec Patton and Joe Keyes trading penalty goals.
Brandon Moore gave Halifax the lead before Sam Scott’s barge over levelled proceedings – with Jordan Lilley then slotting a drop-goal on the hooter.
After the interval, Steve Crossley crashed over before with Patton added another two to extend the lead further.
Halifax took control from then, as Zack McComb and Jouffret both touched down to seal the win for the local rivals.
John Kear brought Sam Scott back into his starting 13 for this local derby, with Sam Hallas also starting on his return to the club.
Fairbank was sent for an early bath following a scuffle on the third tackle of the match – with Patton kicking a two pointer soon after.
Keyes did likewise before Moore spotted a gap from dummy-half to hand the visitors the lead.
Scott on his return couldn’t be stopped from close range to level the scores with his second try of the season.
Lilley then gave Bradford the lead before the half was over, adding a drop goal from close range.
On the last, Crossley then spun his way past Keyes to score, to push the Bulls into a two-score lead, with Patton adding two from halfway after an infringement.
Halifax, however, came roaring back in the closing stages, as McComb touched down from dummy-half, with Jouffret scoring the winner three minutes from time to hand them the victory.
