SCHOLARSHIP SEE OFF KR

Bradford Bulls Scholarship side beat Hull Kingston Rovers 20-12 at Odsal Stadium last night – with Jamie Gill and Connor Sayner both scoring braces!
A fast start saw Paul Mennell’s charges register the game’s first score – a looping ball from Jack Ward finding Sayner to dive over in the right corner.
The visitors hit back with a quickfire double however to take a two-score lead after a frantic opening quarter.
The Young Bulls battled back into proceedings and swiftly reduced the deficit – Sam Ackroyd putting forward Gill through a gap in the visiting defence.
Things got even better for the home side before the break, when another looping ball from Ward found Joe Ward – who fed Sayner for an acrobatic second!
Gill somehow barged over four KR defenders for his second after the interval – before a late penalty from Ward added the gloss to an impressive night’s work.
