RESERVES MATCH REPORT

Bradford Bulls Reserves battled against a strong Warrington Wolves outfit yesterday evening, eventually falling to a 28-14 defeat.

Warrington took an early advantage as Josh Lynch crossed for a quick-fire double before Darbyshire extended the home side’s lead.

Joe Burton attacked the line and sent the ball out for Jayden Myers, who crossed, with Coby Nichol scoring minutes after.

After the break, Nichol grabbed his second in similar fashion, following a Riley Dean score – but it would be Warrington who ended the evening with a Tom Inman try sealing the game.

Mark Dunning named Elliot Hall, Samy Kibula and Brad England in the Reserves squad as the trio look to return to fitness following injuries.

Warrington crossed for the first score of the game as winger Lynch touched down twice early on, with Darbyshire adding another score.

Bradford battled back into proceedings and got on the scoreboard soon after, with Myers touching down in the corner, after Camden sent the ball out wide to Burton.

Mail then utilised the large pitch at Victoria Park, to kick over the top for Nichol to gather and score before the half was over.

Dean then crossed for the home side, but Bradford hit back once again.

Nichol and Mail combined again after the interval, with the winger grabbing his second after the ball was palmed back, allowing Nichol to score.

Despite a battling second half effort where Bradford ramped up the pressure on the Warrington line, Inman crashed over to seal the spoils.
