BULLS BATTLE TO BEAT BRONCOS

Bradford Bulls advanced into Round 5 of the Betfred Challenge Cup, with a convincing win over London Broncos, as they ran in six tries, with centre Kieran Gill scoring a hat trick.

The star centre sent the ball out to Ryan Millar early on, with the winger opening the scoring, closely followed up by Sam Scott going over.

London pulled two tries back before the break, both through Paul Ulberg who cut the lead to four.

 Bradford, battled hard in the second half, but couldn’t find the try until fifteen minutes from time.

Dec Patton kicked crossfield for Kieran Gill to touch down, with Gill then going back-to-back, after good work from Ryan Millar.

There was time for two more tries, with George Flanagan barging over, and then Kieran Gill sealed his treble on the hooter.

 John Kear brought in full-back Elliot Hall for his debut, as he moved Elliot Kear to partner Dec Patton in the half’s, with Samy Kibula also given his debut.

 Both sides defended well in the opening stages, with Bradford asking questions of the London defence, Gill’s fast hands sent Millar in for his first for the club.

 Good work from Patton then allowed Scott to crash his way over, extending the lead.

 The home side worked their way back, through winger Ulberg, who scored a quickfire double before the break.

 After the interval, the Broncos tested Bradford’s defence early on, but it held firm.

 Gill then combined with Patton, to touch down and take the game away from London, with the latter then scoring again, minutes later.

 Flanagan took advantage of a smart offload from Crossley to barge over, and the victory was complete as Gill sealed his hat-trick, once again combining with Patton to score as Bradford cruise into Round 5 of the Betfred Challenge Cup.
