OPPOSITION GUIDE | BARROW RAIDERS

Formbook
- Barrow head into this weekend's Round Four clash with their 100% record intact - following wins over Sheffield Eagles, Whitehaven RLFC and most recently, Newcastle Thunder.
The Squad
- A striking backline features the experienced duo of Hakim Miloudi and Jarrod Sammut - both having played in Super League across their many years in the game.
- Sam Brooks and Danny Langtree are both new arrivals to the Raiders' ranks in 2022 - with Josh Wood another noticeable arrival from Wakefield Trinity.
The Coach
- Paul Crarey is in his second spell as coach, having re-joined in 2014 following a stint at Whitehaven RLFC.
- Crarey played 172 games for Barrow during the 80s and 90s and led the Cumbrians to a table topping success last year.
Connections
- Two former Bulls feature in the Raiders' roster in 2022 - Jarrod Sammut and Ryan Shaw.
- Ryan Shaw had a year in the red, amber and black during the 2015 season - while Jarrod had two years at the Bulls between 2012 and 2013.
The Stadium
- Barrow play their games out of Craven Park - which as a result of a sponsorship deal, is now known as the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium.
Previous affairs
- Bradford have won two out of their last three games against Barrow Raiders - with all three of those taking place in 2019.
- John Kear's side prevailed on both occasions in the Betfred Championship - with the Raiders prevailing against a young Bradford side in the 1895 Cup.
