FLEMING SIGNS NEW TWO YEAR DEAL

We are delighted to announce Dan Fleming has put pen-to-paper on a new two-year deal!

The powerful middle returned to the club ahead of the 2021 season for his second spell - following a two-year stint between 2015 and 2016. 

The Welshman made 18 appearances this year, scoring in the stunning comeback victory over Halifax Panthers in April. 

"I am delighted to be staying, I loved my first year back here and can now look forward to the next couple of years," said Fleming, who is sponsored by Sandy and Richard Monro. 

"Having the two years gives me the chance to really settle here and I want to kick on for what is hopefully going to be a big year for club and country.

"It is a great group of lads and I am looking forward to working with the new faces coming in with pre-season starting soon, I am excited to get going again."

Bradford boss John Kear believes the forward will benefit from a prolonged stay at the club, as the club targets further improvement in 2022. 

"I am delighted Dan has signed a new deal - he is a great professional and works very hard, looks after himself and I feel he has had a solid year and has now been rewarded with a two year deal.

"Dan has signed for two more years and I think he will certainly benefit from that stability of being around the same group for a prolonged period of time.

"He is a very experienced player and it is another boost for us heading into a year where we are looking to improve further on what we achieved this year."
