BILLY JOWITT SIGNS NEW TWO YEAR DEAL

Bradford Bulls are delighted to announce Billy Jowitt has signed a new two-year deal!

The 20-year-old made his first team debut against Sheffield Eagles - winning the ASN Doors Hitman of the Week award for his performance where he laid on a try for Joe Brown. 

Jowitt, who can play either at full back, in the halves or at hooker, went on to feature against Halifax Panthers, Toulouse Olympique and Widnes Vikings throughout the club's Betfred Championship campaign.

The youngster insists he is eager to build on his debut year - and is targeting further run outs in the red, amber and black.

"I am really happy and excited to be staying for another two years with a great set of lads and coaching staff, ready to build on last year," said Jowitt, who is sponsored by Lloretta-Clare Moorhouse. 

"To make my debut was a mixture of emotions, there were both nerves and excitement and it is a feeling I will never forget. Even without fans the whole feel of the occasion was immense. 

"Next year I really want to become a more regular player throughout the season and show people what i'm about and can do on a consistent basis.

"To hear that the fans were impressed and happy with my performances after such a short time is really encouraging and a real boost going into next year and I just cannot wait to kick on again next season."

Bradford boss John Kear is full of praise for Jowitt's attitude - and believes he will improve even further next year. 

"Billy is a great young player with bags of potential and he has a really fearless attitude," said Kear, who is sponsored by Bradford Bulls Banter. 

"We are delighted to keep him at the club as we feel he is improving as we invest more and more into his development. 

"He has played a few games this year and if he plays a few more next year it will represent he is developing as a player and I would be absolutely delighted."
