MILLAR EXCITED AHEAD OF NEW CHALLENGE

New recruit Ryan Millar has spoken of his excitement at the 'new challenge' that awaits him - also claiming he is looking forward to being on the right side of the famous Bradford supporters!

The 27-year-old has penned a two-year deal that will see him become a Bull until at least the end of 2023. 

He joins the likes of Dec Patton, Samy Kibula and Kieran Gill in becoming a Bull for 2022 - and brings an impressive try scoring record. 

Alongside being dubbed 'The Fastest Man In The Championship', Millar was sold on the vision of the club and believes his best years are ahead of him.

“I am delighted, it is a great club with fantastic history – everyone knows about the prestige of the club so to have the opportunity to join Bradford was something I had to grab with both hands,” said Millar.

“It is a new challenge for me but an exciting one, I have been at Sheffield all my career and I am looking forward for the change and the chance to really go for it and prove a point.

“John is a massive name in the game and I have loads of respect for him – having had a couple of conversations with him previously it gives you reassurance and I am getting to the age where I want to be at my best, at my peak so this is the right step at the right time.

“I cannot wait for that first home game, I always loved playing at Odsal with the fans out in numbers they are always vocal and supportive, the atmosphere is great so I am looking forward to being on the right side of that and hopefully scoring some tries.

“When I spoke to John about the vision of the club and the players that are coming in, it is really exciting and they are of really good quality. 

“As a winger you tend to rely on the ability of others so to be playing with them will make my life easier and I am really looking forward to working with them.”
