BOSE HAT TRICK ON FAREWELL APPEARANCE

BRADFORD Bulls Women defeated Wakefield Trinity 46-6, to send retiring Danielle Bose out in style, as she scored a stunning hat-trick to call time on an 18-year long professional career.

After both sides exchanged sets early on, Bradford found the breakthrough, as Sarah Dunn barged over, with Kacy Haley following up her effort with one of her own to score.

Millie Taylor and Linda McLean then added to these two first half efforts, with their own scores as Bradford blew Wakefield away.

Then the moment came, as Danielle Bose raced away and slid over, to score her first of the night.

Cara Cookland then spun her way over from close range to give Bradford a commanding lead at the break.

After the interval, the scoring continued as Linda McLean grabbed her second, and Danielle Bose wrapped up a superb hat-trick to finish off in style.

Kacy Haley added a second to her game late on, with Wakefield scoring a consolation with minutes remaining.

Shaun Flynn took charge of his second game as Head Coach and was looking for his first win, in Danielle Bose’s final game, and he would have been impressed early on.

Dunn took a short pass and raced away to barge over the line, Kacy Haley making it two early scores soon after as she fought her way over to score.

Influential half Mille Taylor then scored off the back of some good play, with McLean then touching down.

The woman of the match, Bose, then scored her first, racing away from 30m to score her first of the night.

Cookland added another score before the break in a sensational first half showing from Shaun Flynn’s side.

The scoring didn’t stop after the break however, as McLean grabbed her second in similar fashion, with Bose then adding a second to her name, as she touched down in the corner after a short pass from Kacy Haley.

The pair linked up again, as Bose completed her hat-trick on a memorable final night, with Kacy Haley then scoring a second, to round off a superb night for herself.

Wakefield grabbed a consolation, after they were awarded a penalty, they burrowed their way over.
