KEAR WANTS SQUAD TO CHALLENGE TABLE TOPPERS

Bradford Bulls Head Coach John Kear has spoken ahead of the top of the table clash against unbeaten Toulouse Olympique.

After three straight wins, Bradford faces their toughest test yet, against unbeaten Toulouse who visit the Tetley’s Stadium on Sunday, looking to continue their winning run. 

Toulouse, who boast an impressive squad and most recently defeated Featherstone Rovers, will be a huge test of John Kear’s men. 

Kear is under no illusions about ‘the huge task ahead’ as his side look to be the first side to beat Toulouse this season. 

“It’s been a good week after the York win, the players are really motivated and looking forward to this game”, said Kear, who is sponsored by Bradford Bulls Banter. 

“We want to finish as high as we can to secure that home play-off tie so we’re doing our best to do that. 

“I’ve challenged the players to not roll over and let Toulouse win, we want to really challenge them this weekend. 

“We’ve lost three players to isolation, (Aaron) Murphy and Ant Walker are out so we’re short on numbers but that is just an excuse, I’m expecting us to still compete. 

“Whatever team we put on that field, I still expect us to play to the best of our ability and give it their all.”
