JAY PITTS says he and his fellow Bradford Bulls are determined to continue their winning run through to the end of the season.

Victory over Pitts' parent club, Hull FC, on Sunday, saw James Lowes' side record a third-successive First:Utility Super League success.

The 24-year-old, who bagged a vital try to help sink the Black and Whites, is currently enjoying a season-long loan from the Humberside outfit.

And Pitts wants to experience more of the same in the weeks ahead.

“We have just taken each game as it comes and put in 100 per-cent effort,” said the back-rower, who is proudly sponsored by George Timberley, Amelia and Jayden Cuffe.

“It has come too late for us as a team but there is no element of frustration in that, as it will bode well for the future of the club.

“On Sunday, you could see the desire of the players. When a break was made in attack, there were bodies available for the pass.

“Likewise, when Hull broke through, we got back in numbers and defended pretty well. The effort was there for everyone to see and we have reaped the rewards.”

Pitts, who arrived at the Provident Stadium back in April, has spoken of the "strange emotions" felt after running out to face his employers.

But the Ossett-born forward insists such feelings were pushed to one side over the weekend as the Bulls recorded a trio of successive victories for the first time in over two years.

“The build-up to the game was rather odd, as I did not know whether to be excited or nervous,” explained the former Leeds and Wakefield star.

“I knew it was business as usual, though, and am glad I could help the boys pick up another victory – against the odds.

“It was our third-straight win and, with three games left, we are going all out to make it six from six."

The Bulls return to action on Sunday August 31, taking on Tetley's Challenge Cup finalists Castleford Tigers at the Mend-a-Hose Jungle (kick-off 3.30pm).

Tickets for the tie are now on sale, priced at £19 (adults) and £11 (concessions), with 'swaps' available for junior season-ticket holders – from the Provident Stadium Ticket Office.

Return coach travel is also available for just £10, with coaches departing the Provident Stadium from 1.00pm.
