6th August 2014

DUAL-CODE international Lesley Vainikolo is widely regarded as the one of the greatest players to ever grace the British game.

A former NRL star with Canberra Raiders, 'The Volcano' spent six memorable years as a Bradford Bull before departing for rugby union.

He appeared on five occasions for England, having burst onto the 15-man scene with Gloucester in 2007.

Aged 35, Vainikolo has recently announced his retirement from the sport and settled in France.

He has taken up a coaching role with Rugby Athletic Club Angerien, having previously enjoyed spells, in France, with La Rochelle and the Saint-Jean-d'Angely-based Angerien club.

However, on Friday August 15, Vainikolo is to return to the Provident Stadium, Odsal – back where it all began in 2002 – for the Dinner of the Decade.

In Bradford colours, Vainikolo won every available trophy and such success led to him being included in the 'Team of the Century'.

The dinner has been designed to celebrate the journey to the club's 2004 World Club Challenge triumph, which saw the Bulls collect a trio of titles along the way.

Shontayne Hape, Paul Deacon, Paul Johnson, Jamie Langley and Stuart Fielden are just a handful of those attending, with Brian Noble – the man who steered Bradford to such success – also appearing.

And you can join them by securing your place TODAY!

Tickets are priced at £40 and are selling fast for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dine and share memories with some of the most famous names to ever don Bulls colours.

Current head coach James Lowes will be there to celebrate with his ex-teammates, alongside with chief executive Robbie Hunter-Paul – who will host the evening.

Tables of 10 can be booked for a discounted price of £350, each of which will be joined by one of the club's former stars, with further big names to be announced in the coming weeks.
