JAMES LOWES expects his Bradford Bulls to end their First:Utility Super League campaign on a high.
The Provident Stadium general saw his side mathematically relegated from the sport's top flight earlier today.
But Lowes is relishing the task at hand, insisting the club will bounce back in 2015.
Bradford have six top-tier games remaining this term, with Wigan, Leeds, Hull, Castleford, Widnes and London all yet to face the Bulls.
“I came into this job with a massive shadow hanging over us – the drop,” said Lowes, who is being proudly sponsored by Swim Stars UK.
“Matters have now been made certain but we will be back and we will return better and stronger.
“At the end of the day this is rugby league and we have been put down a division.
“But the club has made massive strides off the field, which will help everyone feel more comfortable going forward. What goes on away from the pitch will have a huge impact on where we go from here.
“We are sportsmen and we have been knocked down, so it is time to stand up, put the gloves back on and go for it.
“That is what we will do, as a club. Everyone is up for the challenge.”
Lowes' men suffered a 52-26 defeat at the hands of Paul Anderson's title-chasing Huddersfield Giants.
But the incredible effort shown left the Bulls boss feeling a sense of pride.
“The players did themselves justice and went about their business in a fantastic manner,” explained Lowes.
“We just weren’t clinical enough and that is the biggest shame, because I thought we were the better side before half-time.
“We went down fighting, which is what I wanted at the very least, and that is how it will be from now until September.
“We know where we are at but our character tells me we will get a win before the end of the year.
“Everyone wants to finish this season in the right way, before preparing for a tough Championship campaign.
“We will be challenging next year, though, and we will be fighting to regain our Super League status.”
As revealed earlier today - via our social media channels - a pair of re-signings will be announced on the official Bradford Bulls website at 7.00am tomorrow.
