BRADFORD BULLS are delighted to announce the appointment of Danny Potticary as the club’s brand-new commercial director.

London-born entrepreneur Potticary brings a huge amount of experience to The Provident Stadium, arriving as the latest addition to the Bulls’ board of directors.

He has worked alongside the club’s new owner and chairman, Marc Green, for more than seven years and the pair have been reunited following Mr Green’s successful takeover last month.

Mr Potticary will head up the commercial side of the business and has spoken of his commitment to the Bradford Bulls faithful, insisting trust is key to the future success of the club – and he intends to earn it.

“Trust from the supporters is huge, it is everything, and we need to make the supporters proud of the club again – on and off the pitch,” said Mr Potticary, an expert in marketing and sales who boasts more than 30 years of business experience.

“I do not simply expect it, though, we cannot expect them to just give it back to the club.

“We have to earn it and as a board of directors we are fully aware of that.

“All I ask is for our fantastic supporters to give us a chance. Let us show you how actions can and will speak louder than words.

“I fully understand the pain which supporters may have suffered in recent years and we want to put an end to it. Full stop.

“Even if, at first, supporters choose to come back and watch only one or two games. We realise it may take time, but we are in this for the long haul and would love for the fans to come and see what we are doing here.

“My remit, at the moment, is the commercial side of the business – and I am extremely proud to be a part of such an historic brand.

“But we are putting measures in place and change is already coming, with building work progressing fast on a brand-new shop and ticket office – which we believe will vastly improve our retail sector.

“In the Conference & Banqueting Facility, we have a jewel in the crown and it needs to be operating in a manner which is successful and profitable.

"It is a fully flexible space, which has and continues to stage major events. The facility itself is ideal for all things conferencing, exhibitions and meetings - of all sizes.

“We have got to encourage people to come back one game at a time, so let us show you that we have pride in the club and are here for to take it backs to where it truly belongs.

“Housekeeping is a big thing of mine, as I am sure the staff here will testify, and in business it’s all about how you are perceived.

“I want our supporters to know that we are very aware of the fact that we must win back their trust.

“They have a big part to play and the more people that back us then the easier our job becomes.”

Chairman and owner Marc Green added: “Danny is a fantastic addition to the business and the board of directors.

“Danny’s appointment is further statement of my intent to drive this club towards a bright and successful future.

“He will prove a fantastic asset for Bradford Bulls and I am really pleased to have him on board.”
