TOM OLBISON has been handed a one-match ban by the Rugby Football League’s Disciplinary Panel.

A tribunal downgraded the initial ‘Grade C’ dangerous contact offence, which the Bradford Bulls forward pleaded not guilty to, to ‘Grade B’.

But back-rower Olbison was found guilty and will miss one match and pay a £300 fine, though dodging a potential three-match ban.

A tribunal found Olbison guilty of placing undue pressure on the neck of Widnes Vikings’ Danny Tickle during Sunday’s First Utility Super League clash between the two sides.
