THE Bradford Bulls Foundation are hosting a junior rugby league festival right here at The Provident Stadium later this month, in a bid to raise funds for Sport Relief.
On Saturday, March 29 children (under-8s) from across the district are invited to take part in the fun, with games getting underway from 10.00am.
Teams entering will play six, eight-minute games and are required to sign-in in the Provident Stand – prior to the festival’s start.
With nine or ten players taking part, as well as rolling substitutions, games are to be officiated by Bulls Foundation staff.
There will be a presentation of medals for everyone taking part, after the tournament has finished – around 1.00pm – in the stadium’s Conference & Banqueting Facility.
For just £50, your team can get in on the action, entering the tournament, and raise money for a worthwhile cause.
Partaking player will need to be donning their amateur club playing kit and will need to bring with trainers, boots and water.
Parents can enjoy the tournament FREE of charge and are invited to park in Car Park D, situated behind the Conference & Banqueting Facility.
Parents are then to sit in the The Provident Stand to view the games. The Pavilion Bar, behind The Provident Stand, will be open while the games are being played – until 2.00pm, so parents can enjoy refreshments while the games are going on.
The Foundation are hoping to attract at least a dozen teams to take part in the festival, so if you would like to enter your club then get it in touch by calling 08448 711 490.
