Jarrod joined the club at the start of last season from the Crusaders and quickly established himself as a fan’s favourite. His elusive running saw him score many game changing tries and he collect four in the final game of the season in France.
Jarrod was born in Blacktown, New South Wales, a western suburb of Sydney. He played school football and was educated at Patrician Brothers' College Blacktown and junior football for Doonside. He was a member of the 2006 Penrith Panthers Jersey Flegg squad that defeated the Newcastle Knights in the grand final and made his Panthers debut in 2007, making 38 appearances before leaving for England. He is of Maltese origin and has represented Malta on several occasions.
