RISING STAR MUDOTI CALLED UP TO YORKSHIRE ORIGIN SQUAD
UNDER-19's star Anesu Mudoti has received a call-up to Yorkshire's Academy Origin series squad ahead of this Saturday's second test against Lancashire with the White Rose leading 1-0 in the trilogy.
The prop forward has enjoyed an impressive start to 2019 as part of Leigh Beattie's Academy squad and has been rewarded with the call-up for potentially his first Yorkshire appearance.
He joins Ethan O'Hanlon and Harry Shackleton having been called up to the White Rose outfit this year - following in the footsteps of Matty Storton, Rowan Milnes and Keelan Foster in 2018.
O'Hanlon featured in the first test at Castleford's Mend-A-Hose Jungle as Yorkshire prevailed 24-14 victors on the day, while Shackleton was ruled out with a knee injury.
This weekend's test is to be played at Blackpool FC's Bloomfield Road as the curtain raiser for the Summer Bash - with all 14 Championship clubs set to descend for a bumper weekend of sporting action.
