SCHOLARSHIP BOOSTED BY QUINTET

We are delighted to announce the arrival of a quintet of rising stars into our Scholarship system!

Jake Dibden (Rochdale Mayfield), Jake Hatfield (Dewsbury Moor), Tyde King (Rochdale Mayfield), Sam Spencer (Dewsbury Celtic) and Lennon Stainburn (Birstall Victoria) have all joined the club's Scholarship system for the next 18 months.

Speaking of the additions, Scholarship head coach Paul Mennell said: “The players we have signed have been brilliant additions to the scholarship. We have had eyes on the players for some time, and our scouts have done a great job at attending their community clubs and feeding back some detailed reports.

“All 5 of them have the attributes and attitudes to take them a long way in the game. The early signs in training are good. They are all hard working individuals, who train with intent and passion. The bring a balance to the squad and if they continue to work as well as they are doing with all the coaching staff, there's no reason why they cannot make a big impact at the Bulls. 

“We have a good coaching and scouting network. Each and every one of us get to as many games as possible, both far and near. We look at games online too so if there are players we like the look of, we get out to see them. Two of the 5 have signed from Rochdale and the other 3 from the Kirklees district so we are always on the lookout. We are aware of the potential that Bradford clubs produce, but we are also aware of others produce from different districts.”
