Karl is in his second stint with the Bulls having made his debut at St Helens in 2003. He was outstanding as the Bulls Senior Academy took the Championship in 2004 and cemented a place in the squad in 2005 and 2006. He featured for the Bulls in the 2006 World Club Challenge Victory over Wests Tigers but left the club at the end of the season to join Gloucester RUFC. His time there was devastated by injuries and he made only three appearances in the other code before rejoining his former Coach, Brian Noble at Wigan in 2009. He spent last year on loan at Harlequins RL and has a one year contract with the Bulls for 2012.
