UTILITY forward Chev Walker has today agreed a new one-year deal with the club, meaning he will be a Bradford Bull until at least the end of next season.
Walker, 31, enjoyed spells with Leeds Rhinos and Hull Kingston Rovers prior to arriving at the Provident Stadium in 2010.
And this morning the England and Great Britain international has followed in the footsteps of Bulls colleagues Adam O'Brien, Dale Ferguson, Adam Sidlow, Tom Olbison, Adam Henry and Lee Gaskell in committing his future to the club.
Walker – a dual-code star – becomes the thirteenth addition to James Lowes' 2015 roster, with newcomers Dan Fleming, Jake Mullaney, Etu Uaisele, Dave Petersen and Mark Offerdahl already on board.
“Chev is a very strong individual, who offers our team a huge amount, and it is great to have him secured for next season,” said Bradford head coach Lowes.
“Before picking up his hand injury, last month, Chev had certainly found some form and was looking really good.
“He is vastly experienced and has performed at the top of the sport, in a number of different scenarios.
“He will act as a real leader for us next year, guiding some of our younger recruits in what will be an exciting, yet challenging Championship campaign.”
You will be able to read a full interview with Chev Walker – who is being proudly sponsored by David and Barbara Watt – on the official Bradford Bulls website from 5.00pm.
