NEW SIGNING Mark Offerdahl is planning to make a big impact in Bradford Bulls colours next season.
The 26-year-old American international, who impressed during last year's World Cup, has agreed a one-year deal with the club to become coach James Lowes' fifth new recruit for 2015.
Offerdahl, formerly of St George Illawarra, North Wales and Carcassonne, can play in the front row and second row.
And the USA star is fully foucsed on hitting the ground running, following his arrival later this year.
“The plan is to arrive for pre-season training, make an impact and, eventually, force my way into the team,” said Tomahawks talent Offerdahl.
“I want to take my performance to another level with the Bulls and really make my presence known.
“The sky is the limit for me and the chance of making it back into Super League – with Bradford – is one I am relishing.”
Offerdahl began this season with Kingstone Press Championship side North Wales Crusaders, but was quickly snapped up by St George Illawarra.
However, the towering forward admits he had little hesitation in opting to return to the UK after being offered a contract by the Provident Stadium outfit.
“As soon as the chance to play for such a big club came up, I jumped at it,” added Australian-born Offerdahl.
“It did not take me long to make up my mind, having spoken to a few people who had nothing but good things to say about the Bulls and where they are heading.
“I just cannot wait to make it back over to England and get everything underway.”
Bradford return to First:Utility Super League action this Sunday, when Lee Radford's Hull FC visit the Provident Stadium (kick-off 3.00pm).
