BRADFORD BULLS are delighted to announce the signing of utility forward Dave Petersen, who has agreed a one-year deal with the club.

The 22-year-old arrives from Australia's Mackay Cutters to become coach James Lowes' third new recruit and seventh squad player for 2015.

A former Hull Kingston Rover, Petersen appeared four times in Super League for the Robins, scoring one try, before opting for a move away from Humberside in 2012.

However, after two years with the Intrust Super Cup Cutters, Petersen is heading home in a bid to launch himself back into the British game's top flight – as a Bull.

“Dave is a very talented, young individual - with a big future in the game,” said head coach James Lowes.

“He was highly regarded before he left Hull KR and has only got better during his time Down Under.

“He will provide us with options in the middle as he is very versatile, committed and aggressive.

“We look forward to welcoming Dave aboard later this year, ahead of a massive league campaign for the club.”

You will be able to read a full interview with our latest signing – on the official Bradford Bulls website – from 7.00am!
