DALE FERGUSON will tonight make a long-awaited return to Bradford Bulls action, following a hefty nine-week stint on the sidelines.

The Scotland international last featured on June 1, when the Bulls battled past Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at the Provident Stadium. Ferguson has since been hampered by frustrating injury setbacks.

This evening, the powerful back-rower – who recently penned a new two-year deal with the club – is set to appear from the interchange bench as Bradford take on arch-rivals Leeds Rhinos, at Headingley Carnegie Stadium.

Elliot Kear starts at full-back, replacing the sidelined Brett Kearney (concussion), as Matty Blythe and Danny Williams occupy the wingers.

Adam Henry stars at right centre, with Joe Arundel lining up at left centre.

Stand-off Lee Gaskell again partners Luke Gale in the halves, with an unchanged front row of Manase Manuokafoa, Adam O'Brien and Jamal Fakir also featuring.

Tom Olbison signed a new two-year contract with the club this week and he is to appear in the Bulls' back row alongside Jay Pitts and James Donaldson, who starts at loose forward.

Joining the returning Ferguson, on the interchange bench, are Adam Sidlow, Alex Mellor and Danny Addy.

Nathan Conroy and Jordan Baldwinson miss out from coach James Lowes' 19-mans squad.
