A SUPER LEAGUE winner, a Challenge Cup king, a World Club champion – and a Bradford Bulls legend.
Former Great Britain and England international Paul Deacon has confirmed his attendance for the upcoming Dinner of the Decade.
The former goal-kicking sensation, commonly known as the 'baby-faced assassin' among Bradford supporters,scored over 2500 points in the famous red, amber and black, making over 300 appearances for the club.
His trophy haul included three Super League titles, a Challenge Cup and a World Club Challenge crown – in a career which spanned 11 years at the Provident Stadium, Odsal, and saw him take up a place in the coveted 'Team of the Century'.
The Wigan-born star is to return on Friday August 15 to celebrate alongside a whole host of his former Bulls colleagues, in the Dinner of the Decade.
The dinner has been designed to celebrate the title-winning teams from 2003 and 2004 and their various triumphs.
Shontayne Hape, Lesley Vainikolo, Paul Johnson, Jamie Langley and Stuart Fielden are just a handful of those attending, with Brian Noble – the man who steered Bradford to such success – also appearing.
