A BUMPER GAMEDAY IN STORE!

05 Sep 2015

TOMORROW will see James Lowes’ Bradford Bulls do battle with Widnes Vikings at the Provident Stadium, Odsal – and we have a bumper gameday in store for you!

A taste of Bavaria is set to return, with Bradford's Stein Bier Keller team bringing with them their excellent Oompah Band once again.

And from 1.00pm – when gates open – we will be showing a full reply of the Bulls’ 41-10 demolition of Salford Red Devils throughout our concourse bars and in the marquee.

We will still be bringing you the cheapest pint around, with a selection available priced at just £2.30 and you will be able to once again bag German Bockwurst Sausage baguettes, or a pie, and a pitn for just a ‘fiver’!

If you would prefer a more homely bite, why not grab a Yorkshire Farm beef burger, with cheese and onions, for just £4.50?

These are just a few samples of what is on offer this weekend, in addition to a whole host of fantastic entertainment – including the Oompah band and live on-the-field entertainment.

There will be something for everyone as we see our activity zone return with a bang. Take on an opponent in the ‘Gladiator Duel’ or test yourself on the all-new ‘Bungee Run’.

MAKE SURE YOU ARRIVE EARLY TO ENJOY ALL OF THE ACTION!

After the full-time hooter, be sure to stick around to enjoy a game of masters rugby league – as we help mark 120 years of the sport!

BULLS ACADEMY GRANTED 'CATEGORY 1' STATUS

04 Sep 2015

BRADFORD Bulls are delighted to announce that the club’s Academy has been awarded ‘Category 1’ status, following a detailed assessment of its performance and structure.

It is the first time clubs have been assessed in such details and build on the successful Academy accreditation system which has taken place in each of the last four years.

The Bulls Academy has made ‘significant improvements’ over the past 12 months and sits alongside four other clubs – including Huddersfield Giants, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Catalans Dragons – who have been rated as ‘good’.

The club’s Head of Youth, John Bastian, has been in post for almost 12 months now and has overseen much improvement at the Provident Stadium, Odsal.

“The Academy here has always produced high-quality players for Super League and England and, after a difficult few seasons, we are beginning to see the benefit of the club’s policy of developing and progressing our system to provide first-class stars of the future.

“The Rugby Football League’s Category 1 status is special recognition for all of our staff and players here at the Bulls, who have contributed towards this.

“We are now fully committed to further developing and improving for the future.”

The RFL’s Director of Performance and Coaching Jon Roberts added: “This is the fifth year that we conducted an audit process and I am pleased to report that the trend continues to be one of improvement as clubs strive for excellence throughout their Academy programmes.

“The standards of players emerging from our club Academies increases year on year and that player supply is having a positive impact on both Super League and England.”
