ADAM Henry and Danny Williams each bagged braces as James Lowes’ in-form Bradford Bulls cruised to victory over Workington Town – for the second time in as many weeks.

In a match played on a rain-drenched Provident Stadium pitch, the hosts ran in three successive scores early on as the Bulls threatened a repeat of the 74-6 rout recorded in round four of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup last Sunday.

The Cumbrian outfit steadied the ship, however, with the testing conditions playing their part in an error-strewn first period.

Conditions worsened after the break and the visitors enjoyed a spell of dominance, before back-to-back tries from the home side thwarted any possibility of a comeback.

With Lowes’ men firmly in the ascendancy, Henry and Williams both bagged their second scores to seal a fifth-straight triumph.

DANNY Addy, Jean-Philippe Baile and Dan Fleming will all return to the fray this afternoon, as James Lowes' Bradford Bulls go in search of a fifth-straight victory.

Utility forward Addy is back in action after being deemed unfit to take part in last weekend's victory over Workington Town in round four of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

He comes in for Lucas Walshaw as Baile is back from injury, having shaken off a hamstring problem.

Dan Fleming, meanwhile, takes his spot on the interchage bench, with Vila Halafihi missing out from the 19-man squad named on Friday.

DESPITE watching his side record an emphatic 74-6 success over Workington Town last time out, head coach James Lowes is hoping his Bradford Bulls can right their wrongs when the Cumbrians visit the Provident Stadium tomorrow – for the second time in as many weeks.

Lowes says his players were left “disappointed” with their performance and that they are hoping to up the ante this weekend, as they return to Kingstone Press Championship action.

Bradford's success last Sunday saw them safely through into round five of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup, where they will face Hull Kingston Rovers.

Though with his focus now back on regular-season action, with a quarter of the campaign almost over, Lowes is calling for his in-form Bulls to further improve as they go in search of a fifth-successive victory.

“We did some things that were not too good last Sunday and have focused on those over the past few days,” said Lowes, who is sponsored in memory of Joyce Dobby.

“We are approaching the game in the same manner and hopefully we can get a similar result.

“Workington will have one or two different players in, with the dual-registration boys arriving from Wigan, but we are only focusing on areas in which we can improve.

“It was not a complete performance, so the boys are certainly on their toes.

“Some of them were sat in the dressing room after last weekend's game disappointed by how they had played, even though they had won by 70 points!

“But that is what the team is all about. The players are hard on themselves because they are striving to improve.

“Hopefully, they will get what they want tomorrow and we will come away with another win.”
