COACH Francis Cummins has been boosted by news that a pair of his Bradford Bulls are in-line to return to First:Utility Super League action on Saturday.
Front-rower Manase Manuokafoa and loose forward James Donaldson are back in full training, having shaken off hamstring and ankle injuries respectively.
As a result, the pair are likely to feature as Cummins' side tackle Catalan Dragons this weekend, from 3.00pm (local time), in Perpignan.
“We have been closely monitoring both Manase and James over the past couple of weeks and I pleased to say they look sharp and ready to go,” said Cummins.
“They were close to appearing at the Magic Weekend but, at this stage of the season, with what is at stake, we are not in a position to take chances on our players.
“Fingers crossed, both will be available to feature this weekend for what is a huge, huge game for us.
“We are expecting the very best from Catalan, with them playing on their own patch, so we realise our preparations have to be spot on.”
Meanwhile, second-rower Dale Ferguson (back), three-quarter Matty Blythe (knee) and prop Jamal Fakir (hand) are all nearing their Bulls returns.
Tickets for upcoming games against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Warrington Wolves, in the Tetley's Challenge Cup, are now available ONLINE.
